I recently read a book about a collection of inspiring and motivational stories which lead me to finding a book that would help me manage even the slightest stress that would come my way. That is why I run into this book. The author did a very good job in providing the exact and reliable information in regards to stress. After reading this, I somehow understood the different signs of stress (which some I have already experienced – like forgetfulness) and eventually trigger to me manage it.

I like the simplicity of the wordings used (and this is very important to me in terms of buying a book). Because the simpler and straight-forward the book is, the better the understanding of topics or ideas being presented. I love the discussion on the 5 proven habits of stress management and will definitely practice it some more so I would find later on the key habit that works for me.

This is my first book on reducing stress, so bear in mind that what I found helpful, someone else may not. This seems like a beginner’s guide to stress management, so if you’ve read other books on the subject before, you’ll probably know everything that’s mentioned in this book.

A lot of it was common sense, but like the saying goes “Common sense ain’t common.” LOL. I KNOW the things mentioned in the book, but I find it hard to implement them throughout the course of my day because as a working mom, I’m just sooo busy. This book has some common sense strategies on how to keep stress levels down and I’m glad to have read it.

I have been under a lot of stress lately. Turns out that managing two jobs and a career of a Latin dancer isn’t really an easy task. I went on Amazon and got several books which I thought might help and this was one of them. I can’t really say that the book helped me get rid of the stress in my life, but it helped me manage it better. There were some really useful tips about different habits that I have learned. It’s a nice book that I would recommend to anyone who has the same difficulties as me..

Social anxiety is something that I am experiencing through my whole life. Many people around me have told me that I react strange when I have to meet a new ones, and also I feel my cheeks redden when I have to speak to many people. I use the tips from the book several days, and I have to admit that they are helping me to beat some forms of my shyness and social phobia. One more thing I like is that it is a “straightforward” book. There isn’t a boring text, and without unnecessary explanations.

As someone who gets nervous when I’m the center of attention, I found this book to be pretty solid in addressing my problems and offering me even just a little bit of hope. However, it made me feel a bit uneasy that social anxiety is a “disorder”. I mean is it? I thought it is all personally. I wish it had references to back up that claim.

I bought this book because I want to understand my friend, who keeps on saying that she has “Social Anxiety” that is why she is just comfortable going out with me and not socializing with other people. The first part of this book taught me what is really “Social Anxiety”, it help me to understand how serious it is and now, I can fully understand my friend. The second part of this book talks about conquering it, I told my friend about what I’ve learned from this book and we are both excited to try all the tips that this book has given. We claim that it will be a positive result!
