    Depression sucks. I know that’s a stereotypical thing to say, but still- it sucks, and I would never wish it upon anyone.

    The problem with depression is that it can not only come out of nowhere, but also for seemingly no reason at all. How can we possibly prepare, prevent, or treat such a thing? If the problem starts in the mind (meaning the depression does not stem from an outside problem) then we, as the incredible human beings that we are, can use that same mind to fight it. I’m not saying that a person going through depression should turn away professional help, but this book is a start towards a better life.

    The advice and detail in here is for everyone- those who are suffering from depression, those who have loved ones being hurt by depression, and those who would like to know a bit more about it. Not only are there a plethora of ways to begin the healing process in here, some of them are ones that I have used in fighting my own depression.

    Excellent little book, I had problems with depression a few years back and this little book would have come in handy then. The book is quite well laid out covering depression, stress and fears. Before my stress overload ended up as depression so I would have been better off controlling the stress before it got worse. This book would have come in handy then.
